Under the activities Bob and Gerry are the East Midlands contact for a nation wide organisation over 60 years old.

The Association of Jewish Refugees, who's headquarters are in London. Bob and Gerry cover Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire. they meet about 4-5 times per year mostly at their house in Nottingham for a lunch and get-together sometimes with a speaker mostly reminiscing about our past lives in central Europe. The organisation has social workers ( in London and the rest of the UK ) to help members financially and socially if difficulties occur in old age.

Dear friend,
I am delighted on behalf of the Nottingham Jewish Housing Association to invite you, your friends and members of your community to a presentation on our retirement living project in Ruddington, Nottingham. We are about to commence building a 40 unit complex of individually owned one or two bedroom apartments, on a 2.5 acre site on the outskirts of Nottingham. This development will feature support for independent living, a kosher restaurant, landscaped gardens, shops and amenities within walking distance, plus on site care for those who may need it, when they need it, in their own homes.
